About Me
Dr. Westley Carter, DO, FAAD, FAOCD, is a dual board-certified dermatologist and the founder of Carter Dermatology. He provides medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology care with a patient-first approach dedicated to the highest standard of skin care for patients of all ages.
Before pursuing medicine, Dr. Carter served our country with distinction as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States/Oklahoma Army National Guard. He completed two combat tours in Iraq, serving as a physician assistant and earning the Bronze Star Medal. After a 29-year military career, he transitioned to dermatology with the same dedication to service.
Dr. Carter is married to Aimee Carter, a physical therapist, and they have three children together. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing guitar, studying history, and golf.
